High Priest Chukwuemeka Emenyeonu Ngene of Chukwuabiama Heritage Synagogue, in the continuation of his lecture on Tradition goes tough on politicians and their inability to fulfill their campaign promises.
In this interview, Ngene opined that every political office holder in Nigeria should swear an oath of office with Oracle/deity instead of Bible or Holy Quran.
Recall that Political office holders in Nigeria, starting from the President to Council Chairmen are mandated to swear an oath of office with Bible in a bid to uphold and abide by the principles of the law. However, Ngene stressed that despite taking an oath with Bible, politicians are not being able to fulfill their campaign promises.
This, he said our tradition has a total solution to bad governance, if politicians are mandated to be taking an oath of office, by swearing with Oracle.
“Give them Oracle, deity to swear with, if they fail to fulfill their campaign promises, they will definitely die,” Ngene said.
