Suspected political thugs yesterday attacked a disabled man in Lagos State over his support for the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi.
In a video which has gone viral, the disabled man said the thugs accosted him, attacked him and broke down his automated machine even without any provocation.
“They saw me going my way, they descended on me, beat me up and injure me, look at my hand, they injure me everywhere because I was only supporting Peter Obi for President,” the man said.
He went further to point at what could have led to the attack, “look at what they said I do, because I put something on the back of my Keke, a paper written: “Vote for Labour Party for Better Nigeria, Peter Obi let take back Naija.”
The man called on his attackers who asked him to support the presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to desist from such act, stressing that it’s his right to choose which candidate to support.
“It’s not making sense, please, you people should stop all these things. It’s my life and my choice”, he added.
