A Nigerian Police Officer has been captured live on camera beating up a tricycle operator in Aba, the commercial city of Abia State – over an allegation that he scratched his car.
The incident, according to an eyewitness happened along Hospital road by Asa – following a traffic jam that grounded the area at the time the incident took place.
While stuck in the traffic, the policeman who was not in uniform warned the tricycle operator not to scratch his car. However, an eyewitness said the Keke man didn’t move an inch closer to the Policeman’s car, surprisingly, the officer came down from his car, brandishing a pistol and started brutalizing the tricycle driver.
In the Video obtained by ABACITYBLOG, the tricycle operator was seen, explaining to commuters and other commercial drivers, that he didn’t do anything to the police officer that warranted the attack. He added that he never scratched the officer’s car.
While explaining his ordeal, the angry looking policeman went ahead and gave him hot slaps on his face and threatened to shoot him. He, also called his colleague (another Police Officer) who came and handcuffed the Keke driver and whisked him away.
