Chairman of the Oshodi motor park has been accused of beating up two supporters of Peter Obi, the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate in Lagos State.
In a twitter post, Obi supporter, with twitter handle @ObiFlagboy accused the Oshodi chairman of attacking them with his boys. He said the chairman even threatened to burn them alive.
“We were almost burnt alive if not for an army officer”, “We’re seriously having internal bleeding”, flagboy said in a tweet.
AbaCityBlog recalled that Obi’s supporters dubbed ‘Obidients’, held #OneMillionManMarch across the country yesterday as Nigerians celebrated the 62nd years of Independence.
Reacting, the Lagos State Police Command public relations officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, advised the victims to report to the nearest police station for swift investigation.
“This video does not show much. I advise they report at the nearest police station. Everyone culpable should face the law appropriately. Reach out if need be”, Officer Hundeyin said.
