Gunmen in Nigerian military uniform on Sunday, 6th February 2022 – reportedly stormed Osofem Oil and Gas petrol station located at Nitel bus-stop, Ifo, Ogun state, killed the owner simply identifies as Femi and made away with cash and his vehicle.
A twitter user who shared the video footage, said the slain man was her uncle, stressing that the incident took place at 10:PM inside the Osofem Oil and Gas petrol station. She said the gunmen made away with her uncle’s 2010 Toyota Corolla, Silver colour with a registration number – EKY903GZ.
“This happened at Osofem oil and gas, nitel bus-stop at Ifo, Ogun state around 10pm on Sunday … he was about going home when they came to attack him … he tried to escape they shot him on the head took his car and money and went away (sic),” she tweeted.
She further added that her Uncle was about leaving the office when the gunmen stormed the station, he tried to escape but they shot him in the head.

While the tweet is generating engagement from Nigerians, another user who corroborated her story, said the incident took place around his vicinity in Ogun State. He said the man newly opened the petrol station and was sharing free fuel to the people before he was assassinated on Sunday.
