A US-based Nigerian man has taken to social media to display a hard copy of the alleged Drug case of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Recall that the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council had dragged the president-elect to court, urging the Independent National Electoral Commission to delist him from the February 25 election on the premise of an alleged criminal case of trafficking in drugs that led to his sentencing by a court of competent jurisdiction in the United States and his subsequent forfeiture of the sum of $460,000 to the US authorities.
Also, the Labour Party, LP, and its presidential candidate in the February 25 election, Mr Peter Gregory Obi, filed a petition before the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja, challenging the Independent National Electoral Commission’s declaration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the winner of the election.
Obi and LP prayed the court to hold that at the time of the Presidential election, Tinubu and Kashim Shettima were not qualified to contest.
However, in a recent video posted on Twitter, a US-based Nigerian was seen displaying the case which according to him amounts to about 70 pages.
