Some popular Nollywood actors have been found rooting for the former Lagos State governor, Bola Tinubu over his purported ambition to run for the office of the President come 2023.
While the Politician, have not officially declared his intention, reports abound of Tinubu’s subterranean moves to emerge Nigeria’s president at the next general election. Support groups and political jobbers have thus been jostling to have a slice of action.
In a video trending on social media, the likes of Mr Ibu, Harry B. Anyanwu and other prominent Nollywood stars, were seen in a meeting-like setting bannered “South West Stands for Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
The veteran actor Mr Ibu, was seen addressing the audience and appreciating a yet to be identified individual, saying “Oga make God bless you, make God keep you.”
“So the reason for which we came here, make person no change o”, he said before going completely inaudible deliberately by whispering till the end of his “brief” speech.
Another actor, Harry, presented his own speech in form of rap: “I don hustle, I don waka tire, I don suffer defeat searching for a better life and wetin man go eat. We still dey hustle with smile and dey hustle for show but na only God know the truth and the men wey go blow.”
