Tosin Oluegbenga, a Nigerian twitter user has gotten a response from a Northern youth for exposing the growing trend of Almajiris in the Northern Nigeria.
The 0:44 seconds video showed the Almajiris lined up, begging for alms. Although, the almajiri trend isn’t new to the Northerners but many have showed concern over it, this is even as some lawmakers are proposing for child birth control.
Oluegbenga who shared the video didn’t revealed the state were the video was taken but he politically opined that the Almajiri trend is one of the reasons North will continue to dictate who will rule the country.
He wrote…
