The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan has appealed to the #EndSars protesters in Nigeria to stop and allow the Federal Government to properly implement their demands.
Senator Lawan stated this after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari today in Aso Rock alongside the Speaker of House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.
Speaking to newsmen, Senator Lawan appealed to #EndSars protesters to give the Buhari led FG time to implement their demand. Lawan also, noted that since the President has accepted the protesters demand, there is no need to continue the protest.
He said the continuation of the protest will put the country’s economy on hold.
