The Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, is proposing a 15 year jail term on landlords who rent out their apartments to the internet fraudsters locally known as (Yahoo Yahoo).
The anti-graft agency made the revelation in an open invitation on its social media page, while inviting the general public to attend the tenth edition of its Townhall meeting titled: “EFCC Connect”.
EFCC Connect, holding tomorrow on Twitter Space, is an open forum where the anti-graft agency will discuss with the members of the public on the issue of internet fraudsters.
The invitation reads:
“The #EFCC is pleased to invite the general public to the tenth edition of #EFCCConnect an open forum with members of the public as we discuss, “Landlord: Give Your House to Yahoo Boys, Spend 15 Years in Jail”.
