Barely 24hrs after the Anambra State governor, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo visited Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the detained Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB in DSS custody.
Armed group who described themselves as “Unknown Gunmen” wreaked havoc in the State. The group sets ablaze Idemili North Local Government building, Magistrate Court and EEDC Office in Ogidi.
The group carried the attack yesterday night, 15th of May, 2022.
A Military and Security Affairs reporter, shared the photos of the scene, which cars were burnt and building were razed by the fire set by the Gunmen.
The tweet read: “Yesterday night, the known “Unknown Gunmen” wreaked havoc again as they attacked & burnt Idemili North LGA Building, magistrate court, EEDC Office in Ogidi, Anambra State.”
Meanwhile, AbaCityBlog reported that governor Soludo paid a visit to Nnamdi Kanu. The governor also took a photograph with the detained IPOB leader.
Soludo said they had a warm discussion and Kanu expressed sadness over the reports of killings and kidnapping going on in South East.
