Former Governor of Lagos State and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ahmed Bola Tinubu, yesterday, paid a visit to the Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.
Tinubu, who has been rumoured to be nursing ambition to run for the office of the president in 2023 arrived at Orji Kalu’s Abuja residence at exactly 4:25 p.m.
They had a closed door meeting and Tinubu left 6:45 p.m – however, Tinubu who spoke to the press, shortly after leaving Kalu’s residence, said they both discuss the future of the NIGERIA youths.
He said that his meeting with the former governor of Abia “centred on the development of the country”.
“We discussed the way forward for the country and this country is important and greater than any one’s personal ambition.
“We have been together and concerned about the stability, progress, development and security of the country.
“The future of our youth is more critically important than selfish and personal intentions,” he said. (NAN)
