As the chairman of the presidential task force on COVID-19 Boss Mustapha announced the re-opening of airports and resuming of domestic flights, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has introduced new protocol for flight resumption.
Here are the things you need to know before you get to the airport as directed by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria. FAAN:
- Avoid unnecessary touching of surfaces while at the Airport.
- Maintain 6 ft (2m) Distance from other travelers at all times
- You are advised to arrive at the airport 3 hours before your flight due to the new COVID-19 safety checks.
- You must wear face mask to be able to gain access to the Airport Terminal Building.
- Escorts coming with VIPs will not be allowed into departure hall, only travelling passengers.
- Individuals coming to pick arriving passengers are advised to remain in their car until the passengers exits gate.
