Some religious extremist in Borno State have threatened to kill a young woman, identified as Naomi Goni for allegedly insulting Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) on Facebook.
The religious extremists vowed that the death penalty was the punishment that would be meted out to Naomi.
Naomi was reacting to the killing of Deborah when she queried why the extremists will kill for their gods.
This is coming days after a 200level female student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Deborah Samuel was burnt to death within the school premises on Thursday for allegedly insulting Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

Meanwhile, a security source had told SaharaReporters on Saturday that Naomi had been taken into custody by the police.
“She’s currently under detention and denied making the post; she said her account was hacked after she gave birth last year. I don’t think she will be released soon so she won’t be killed. I heard some people are also planning to attack her father’s house here in Maiduguri,” the source had told the publication.
