There is currently a sad moment at the Nigeria’s seat of power, following the death of Abba Kyari, the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Kyari’s death was announced by the President official aides.
Before his death, Kyari had tested positive to Covid-19 a virus caused by Coronavirus which has killed many people across the globe.
Announcing Kyari’s death, Garba Shehu, aide to the president said; “The Presidency regrets to announce the passage of the Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari”.

According to him; “The deceased had tested positive to the ravaging COVID-19, and had been receiving treatment. But he died on Friday, April 17, 2020”.
“Kyari’s Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly,” Shehu noted.
On his on part, Femi Adesina, another Buhari’s aide corroborated Shehu’s statement on Abba Kyari. He prayed God receive his souls in peace.

Bashir Ahmad, another President Buhari’s aide mourned Kyari.
He said he is devastated and short of words over his death.

Deji Adenyaju, human rights activist, bemoaned Nigerians political who embezzled public funds meant for building the country especially the health system. He attributed Kyari’s death to the poor health system in Nigeria.
