The Catholic Diocese of Ondo today commenced funeral mass for worshippers killed when terrorists attacked St Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State.
AbaCityBlog reports that no fewer than 40 persons were gruesomely murdered during an early morning attack on June 5.
The attack received condemnation from all quarters while the security agencies are to make any arrest.
However, the funeral mass began at 10:00 am after the caskets bearing the bodies of the deceased were brought in.
The venue of the mass, Mydas Resort, Owo, is currently filled to capacity.
Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and other top personalities are in attendance.
