Stop spreading purported letter, Join Ikpeazu in fight against Coronavirus – Ohanaeze warns Alex Otti

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide had described the recent Purported leaked Protest letter addressed to Police Service Commission with doctored ingredients and Contents as Media Creation and Vain Pursuits of Abia Opposition Politicians sowing seeds of discords between the Abia Government and the Newly Appointed Commissioner of Police Abia State, Mrs Janet Agbede including the Biafran Groups.

In a statement signed by the group President General, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, OYC wondered Why Politicians will always institute Crisis in Igboland with deadly consequences especially now Southeast Governors are fighting to Contain the spread of Coronavirus in South East.

“With certified 5 Covid19 index cases in the South East with one recovery in Enugu, Igbo Youths warn mischief Makers and Fifth columnists to Stop casting aspersions on the Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu”, OYC said in the statement.

OYC, however, said it has exonerated Abia State Government from any wrongdoing and Dr Alex Otti, should join Abia State Government in the fight against Coronavirus and stop spreading unsubstantial claims of a purported letter with evil intent to put Abia on flames.

A letter allegedly written by the Abia State governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu over the redeployment of the State commissioner of Police Ene Okon has surfaced online.

The full statement reads below…

“OYC had Commended Abia State Government, for the Maturity displayed in handling the extra Judicial killings in Abia State, We Condemned vehemently the killings of Youths across the Southeast, and OYC will not tolerate any further killings by Security officers and Urge Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Muhammed to cross check his facts before dishing out sensitive information on issues happenings in the South East.

“Igbos Youths await the report of the Investigative Panel of inquiry Set Up by Inspector General Of Police on the Ohafia killings and Call for Peace,as We expect Cordial Working Relationship between the New Abia CP Agbede and Abia State Government.

“OYC laud the Appointments of Post Abia Economic Advisory Committee Chaired by Professor Anya O Anya with Professor Ngozi Okonjo Iweala as Member and others,Governor Okezie ikpeazu had demonstrated Courage to assemble World class Economists to draft quality frameworks and proposals in rebuilding post Coronavirus Pandemic Abia Economy.

“We Urge Federal Governments to redouble their efforts through disbursements of Stimulus packages and palliative Care for Nigerians, as Hunger is growing geometrically in Nigeria, Nigerians might Revolt.
