#StartupSouth – Innovation ecosystem development and advocacy organisation – and AfriLabs – Pan-african Network of Innovation Hubs today jointly announce the beginning of the Port Harcourt Innovation Ecosystem Tour slated for Wednesday May 4 and Thursday May 5, 2022.
The Innovation tour will see Anna Ekeledo, the Executive Director of AfriLabs and Uche Aniche, the Convener of #StartupSouth visit Startups offices, Hubs, Media outlets, Investors and Key policy makers.
Other activities planned as part of the Tour include a Hub Leaders Seminar, a Startup Meetup by Futuresphere BI Hub and a Dinner for select Stakeholders.
In a statement, Uche Aniche said the Tour is a continuation of the wider pan-regional projection for the entire South-South and South-East and a prelude to #StartupSouth7 – the organization’s conference which is held October/November annually.
“In November 2021, we had the Enugu Innovation Tour with the UNDP #ACCLab Team and then Hosted the Nigerian Communications Commission Team in Enugu.”

Also speaking, Anna Ekeledo said, “the best way to understand the needs and realities of the local startup ecosystem is to listen to the stakeholders and engage with them.
