The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders, COSEYL, the apex socio-political youth organization in the South East geopolitical zone has commended the Senator representing Abia central senatorial zone at the Senate, Senator Theodore Ahamefula Orji, CON for building international standard classroom blocks in all the primary and secondary schools in his senatorial district.
COSEYL, in a statement signed by its President General, Hon. Goodluck Ibem, described the former Abia State governor as a “revered senator who has brought a renewed hope to the development of the educational sector and also proved that he is a man of unblemished records.”
“The support of Senator T. A. Orji to education has shown that he is a true leader,” part of the statement read.
“The recent commissioning of the completed Okwuta primary school, Isieke Ibeku, 12 – classroom block which is part of his 2019/2020 constituency projects has proved beyond every reasonable doubt that former governors elected as senators are not in the senate to sleep, but are in the senate for serious business.
“Though Abia central senatorial zone have had Senators that represented them in the past at the red Chambers, but non could achieve such a great feat through out their tenure in the senate.
“Ochendo Global as he is fondly called by his admires has proved that the senate is not meant for unserious People but for persons with track record of hardwork, dedication and experience. It takes a man with great experience to achieve such a great feat in such a short period of time in the senate.
“In some states, we have seen situations where students sit on the bare floor to study under the trees because of lack of classrooms and chairs to sit on. But the situation is different in Abia central senatorial zone as pupils study in a very conducive classrooms and environment with other modern equipments provided for learning, courtesy of the dynamic and People oriented Senator , Chief T. A. Orji.
“Abia central senatorial zone has recorded more enrollment of pupils in our public schools because a conducive environment have been provided for teaching and learning.
“The positive impact of the federal government on the good of Abia central senatorial zone from 2015 till date is an attestation of the good characters and outstanding posture of Senator Theodore Orji . He always aligns with the interest of the common man.
“The numerous projects attracted by the distinguish Senator brings to mind his commitment to his constituents, consistency and reliability as a lawmaker and politician. His rich background as an academic and lawmaker has positively impacted law-making and institutional relationship.
“Having previously served two terms as governor and serving a second term in the senate, he has lodged remarkable institutional memory such that he is undoubtedly one of the most experienced lawmakers we have in the hollowed Chambers.
“It is no surprise that the gains of his representation have been bounteous.
“We urge other lawmakers to emulate Senator Theodore Orji so that our society will be a better place.
