A mother of four, Aishat Muhammed, who was arrested by the soldiers who are enforcing the curfew ordered by the Lagos State Government, while on her way to buy food items has opened up.
According to the lady, she was arrested at Jakande area of Lagos state alongside 7 other women.
Mrs. Mohammed, however accused the soldiers of releasing two women who she described as ‘Hausa women’ after interacting with the soldiers in Hausa dialect.
The woman further stated that she and other suspects arrested alongside her have been assaulted by policemen who accused them of being criminals.
The distraught lady who disclosed that they’ve been in security operatives’ custody for 6 days, also showed off the money she wanted to use to buy the food items in the interview with a Punch correspondent.
