Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has felicitates with Nigerian Fathers to mark the occasion of Father’s day.
In a press statement he personally signed, Senator Kalu, representing Abia North described Nigerian Fathers as unique beings who have remained resolute and providing for their
Families.
The former Abia State Governor said despite several challenges, Nigerian Fathers has showed the true quality of fatherhood, while urging the Fathers to always have faith in God.
Kalu said; “As Christians all over the country celebrate Father’s Day, I join the host of heavens to celebrate all Nigerian Fathers today.
“In the midst of challenges, you have remained resolute, as responsible Father’s to your families and community.
“I understand the challenges fathers face, but I have absolute faith in God Almighty, that he will continue to give all fathers the grace to continue to lead, guide and provide for their families.
“A father is a father, irrespective of religious affiliation, so let all fathers, irrespective of your faith key into today’s celebration and use today to reflect where their children are, and what they are doing, especially with the current security situation in the country today.
“A GREAT NATION STARTS FROM THE FAMILY, AND THE FATHER IS THE HEAD.
