Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu Patriotic Confederates, have described the Senator representing the Abia North Senatorial district as a BLESSING and DIVINE GIFT to humanity.
Dr. Kalu, Chief Whip of the 9th Senate and the former governor of Abia State, had recently, through his Foundation, OUK Foundation, distributed over 450,000 palm seedlings to his constituency and beyond, a unique empowerment rarely seen.
Speaking while flagging off the distribution, Senator Kalu, said he embarked on the gesture because he believes in agricultural revolution. He said, the palm seedlings are a futuristic investment that will yield a good income in near time.
He admonished his constituents and Nigerians in general to embrace Agri-revolution as one of the best ways the country will move rather than hoping for a white-collar job.
Hailing the senator for his rare kind gesture, OUK Patriotic Confederates, said; “How many of you are aware that the Orji Uzor Kalu foundation purchased 450,000 palm seedlings, and it was distributed freely to beneficiary farmers from Abia, Rivers and Akwa-Ibom states.
“This philanthropic gesture was not borne out of his desire to obtain political favour from the beneficiaries, but purely based on his love to see humanity prosper in all ramifications.
