The President of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Lawan; Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Femi Gbajabiamila; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha and Chief Whip of the Senate , Senator Orji Uzor Kalu on Friday afternoon held a private meeting.
The reasons for the meeting could not be ascertained at the time of this publication.
However, reports has it that the meeting which began at 1 Pm lasted for hours.
It should be recalled that Senator Kalu, a senator representing Abia North Senatorial district is one of the senate leaders because of his position as the chief whip of the senate.
Senator Kalu during his recent visit to his colleague, former Nassarawa State governor, Abdullahi, announced that he will be building a mega fish farm in Anambra and Enugu.
Kalu, a two time former Abia State governor from 1999 to 2007, was recently released from the Abuja correctional service over alleged misappropriation of state funds during his term as Abia governor.
Upon his released, the senator has received numerous visit which includes his colleagues from the national Assembly and business associates.
