I have read so many articles written by different groups calling for the former governor of Abia State and senator elect under the platform of All Progressives Congress APC as the rightful choice for the senate presidency of the 9th Assembly and my question still remains, why shouldn’t it be OUK?
With the president of the federation coming from the northern part of Nigeria and the vice coming from a Yoruba tribe, one would honestly imagine that good conscience and fair judgement should be the take of the leadership of APC and the federal government in choosing a senate president from the Igbo.
I am neither a legal practitioner or an astute politician, I believe I represent the teaming masses who believe that Nigeria belongs to all and not just for a particular tribe or region.
Apart from the fact that fair judgement is required in thiscase, it will also be noted that OUK is most qualified for this position.
As a member of the House of Representatives, which OUK was part of as far back as 1992 and also his excellent record as governor of Abia State for 8 outstanding years, one would imagine that the APC would rally round OUK with utmost pursuance to replace Saraki to enable a smooth and better administration for the party.
OUK is not just a lover of APC but also a staunch supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari, he wants the best for PMB’s administration. His leadership in the senate will not only offer the best for Nigerians but also the best for PMB/APC come 2019.
It will also be noted that OUK is one detribalised politician. It was seen through his administration as governor that all tribes got very important attention from his government.
This is a very crucial time in the Nation’s history and I believe the leadership of APC and the presidency would hear the voice of indigenous Nigerians who are loudly calling for OUK to replace Saraki.
We must ensure we don’t miss this golden opportunity of having this genus of a man as our Senate President.
Nigerians are speaking out loud.
Let justice be done and let far conscience play its role.
Nigerians want OUK and justice should be served.
Mr. Anyalekwachi, you had better studied the underlying circumstances surrounding an issue before jumping into conclusion. Mr. Orji Uzo Kalu is a functional illiterate as such he is not competent to be appointed to a leadership position in any legislature including the legislature of Canine Academy of South Houston. Inferring from history, all the ibolites who have occupied some leadership position in the Nigerian Parliament were intellectuals and had no dubious character, i.e. Nwafor Orizu and Okadigbo . In the case of Mr. Orji Uzo Kalu, though he is not an ibo man by hereditary but by association as his ancestors migrated to Ibo Land from some Some Southern Cameron Enclave which was mistakenly thought to be of Efick identity. Mr. Orji Uzo Kalu transformed Umuahia, a town which legendary Dr. M.I. Okpara created as an emerging industrial complex to a residential center by selling the industries which were strategically located in Umuahia Town without any consultation with the citizens of Umuahia who have the blue prints of Umuahia Industrial Complex. Additionally, Orji Uzo Kalu claims he is the 10th richest man in Africa but he would not agree to subject his activities to a financial audit by a British or American Accounting Firm to establish his innocence of the financial improprieties charges levied against him by the Federal Government of Nigeria. Mr Orji Uzo Kalu claims to have Doctorate degree but has no idea of the null hypothesis of his imaginary dissertation proposal.
