The senate has agreed on the 30,000 as minimum wage and 75,000 as penalty for non compliance.
The senate committee met yesterday to approve this.
The new development was confirmed by senator Shehu Sani, who took to his twitter handle to announce this.

Speaking of the aspect of the 2019 budget, Senator Shehu,stated that the proposal on raising funds through privatization to finance budget was denied and rejected during the campaigns.
He wrote:
”An aspect of the 2019 budget carries a proposal on raising funds through privatization to finance the budget;It will be interesting to know what is going to be auctioned and to whom,in view of the fact that privatization was denied,rejected and mocked at during the campaigns.”
