A professor of Law at Abia State University, Professor Eme Agha Ndukwe has congratulated the Chief Whip of the Senate and Senator representing Abia North Senatorial district, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu on his successful mid term constituency tour while commending his vision and determination to reposition and transform Abia North for greatness.
This is even as he said that the Chief Whip will win the 2023 Abia North senatorial election with a landslide.
Speaking with newsmen on Tuesday in Umuahia, Ndukwe based his optimism on Kalu’s performance in the 9th Senate and his popularity in the nation’s politics and capacity to deliver good governance.
Ndukwe, who is from Arochukwu Local Government Area while sharing his experience with Kalu during the Senator’s recently concluded mid term tour where kalu toured 57 wards of Abia North on project reports, declared
“Abia North Will Deliver 99% Votes for Orji Kalu”
According to the erudite scholar, “Senator Orji Uzor Kalu is going to win and there is no doubt about that. If we are to judge by records , he should be expecting 100% votes but for the family members of his opponent, we will look towards 99%. I was in Arochukwu when Nzuko Aro women welcomed him to their project commissioning. I saw the love and connection. He was at home with the people. The people can do anything for him because of his style. You cannot meet Orji Kalu and not like him . Even his critics get disarmed by his attitude and style.”
He further described the former Abia state governor as a reputable democrat, credible and endearing politician whose track record of achievements speaks volume.
Ndukwe said Kalu’s political precedence, achievements and contributions to the advancement of Nigeria’s democracy and development of the nation placed him far ahead of other senatorial candidates.
“Kalu is far ahead of others. He is a statesman, a Pan Nigerian and a popular leader whose re-election would bring more development to Abia North senatorial district.”
He added that Kalu’s performance in the 9th Senate is the best in the history of Abia state.
“You cannot have a Senator with over 63 road projects and over 40 Bills and think of voting another person. You saw how he moved round Abia North. He has projects across every clan in the zone. It is unprecedented and the best we have seen since 1999,” he added.
