The 9th Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, yesterday, moved a motion on the urgent need to revive the Palm Oil Industry in Nigeria.
Kalu, during his contribution calls for an intervention in the deteriorating status of police colleges in the nation.
The senator who revealed this in a twitter post, noted that the motion was supported by his colleagues.
“At the resumption of the @NGRSenate plenary session after its annual recess.I contributed to a motion on the urgent need to revive the Palm Oil Industry in Nigeria.The Senate also supported the motion for intervention in the deteriorating status of police colleges in the nation”, Kalu wrote on twitter.
The former Abia State governor and Senator representing Abia North, is no doubt one of those at the forefront championing for the revival of the Agricultural sector. Recently, Kalu, though his foundation shared over 450,000 palm seedlings to his constituents and across the State.
