The Joint Task Force in Anambra State, have destroyed Ogboji/Aguluezechukwu camp of Unknown Gunmen masquerading as Biafra agitators.
JTF, which comprised of the Army, Navy and Police, in a recent operation raided the criminal hideout, who specializes in terrorizing, kidnapping and snatching cars of citizens in Anambra State.
During the operation, the JTF also learnt that these gunmen do sell cars they got from carjacking at a lower price. According to JTF statement, they also sell car parts.

The Joint Task Force operation is coming a few days after the Anambra State governor, Prof Charles Soludo, extended an olive branch to the gunmen terrorizing the State.
The governor who recently took over the mantle of leadership in Anambra State, vowed to end the “Monday sit-at-home”, which is gradually becoming a norm in the five States of the Southeast.
Soludo also promised to interface with the Federal Government on behalf of all prisoners of conscience in the state.
Parts of the statement reads;
“I have also offered Amnesty to all our brothers in the various forests around us. Give us your guns, and trust us to help you forge a meaningful living.
“The task of taking back our dear State and reclaiming the dignity of our collective existence is at the heart of our drive towards a Liveable and Prosperous Homeland. This task is a MUST.
“I call for your support and prayers, as we have resolved to fiercely go after criminal elements who are out to threaten our peace and distort our development.
“Anambra is the Light of the Nation, we must keep it so.
Please I want to say that,all those murderers kidnappers unknown gunmen etc committing all sorts of crimes in the land pretending to be Freedom fighters, agitating for Biafra be sorted out and be dealt with seriously and accordingly IPOB,ESN MEMBERS are not murderers. They know what they are fighting for, nothing but a fifty fifty live for all.
