Nigeria’s Super Eagles player, Samuel Kalu is said to have suffered a suspected heart attack in team’s final training ahead of the match against Burundi tomorrow.
Kalu collapsed while trying to take a corner not because of heart attack like earlier thought but dehydration and has been transported to a local hospital. He has since been confirmed okay and stabilised.
Reacting over the reports the NFF media officer, Demola Olajire said:
“I have been told Samuel Kalu has been stabilised. He was taken to hospital for tests and he is certified okay. He was dehydrated, they said. Told him he needs to be taking enough fluids.”
