Popular Instagram comedian and skit maker, Chukwuemeka Emmanuel popularly known as Mr Sabinus aka Mr Funny, is set to sue popular milk producers, Peak and sausage roll producers, Gala.
The two companies had utilized the comedian’s intellectual property to make adverts for their products without contacting him or asking for permission to use it.
The comedian’s legal team in a video shared by an Instagram page, Gossipmill, revealed that the Gala company had utilized Mr Funny’s animated picture to promote their products and Peak, his line “something hooge”, to make adverts to promote their products without contacting him or asking for his permission.
The legal team has sued Peak company for 1 billion naira and has sued the Gala Company for 100 million naira.
