The youngest officer Alex Kueng, who is involved in the murder of George Floyd, the Black-American has Nigerian root.
Alex Kueng is one of four former officers accused of crimes in the killing of Mr. Floyd, which happened on his third shift. His decision to join the force had frayed friendships.
According to New York Times, Alex Kueng was raised by his mother alongside adopted African-American siblings with an absentee Nigerian father.
His mother Mrs Joni Kueng revealed that her son joined the police to contribute towards a change in the police department which has been accused of racism.
Mrs Joni regret that her son involved in such situation.
He has now been denounced by his members of his family while his siblings have joined Black Lives Matter protests and called for the arrests of all the officers involved including their brother.
