The House of Representative Committee which is investigating alleged mismanagement of fund by the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, has invited the minister Godswill Akpabio.
The summon follows after the acting Managing Director of the commission Joy Nunieh Appeared Before the committee on Friday.
Nunieh showed up before the committee via a virtual conversation called Zoom.
She was scheduled to appear before the committee on Thursday, but her Port Harcourt home was surrounded by Police.
However, the Governor of the state Nyesom Wike came to her rescue whereby she was taken to the Government house.
Meanwhile the House Committee is investigating alleged mismanagement of funds by the current NDDC’s Interim Management Committee (IMC).
