Yesterday, some villages in Orlu Local Government in Imo State experienced unrest which was caused by a clash between the men of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) and the Nigerian military.
Before now, what caused the clash is still unknown as many Nigerians seek to know what really transpired and while the unrest which had led to the deaths of many residents, why scores sustained bullet injuries.
However, sources who were present when the clash started tells their stories.
Ebere is one of the people who witness the unrest, she said the clash was as a result of conflict between the Fulani herdsmen and the villagers.

According to her, “the Imo State governor, Hope Uzodinma gave lands to Fulani herdsmen for settlement, the gesture which the villagers protested against.
“Angered by the protest, the herdsmen allegedly went and called their military brothers who went and arrested some villagers.
Another eye-witness, a twitter user said the protest by the villagers led to the point that military took over the sleepy village, harassing and molesting the youths in the area.
He said he was there when it all started yesterday (Sunday) evening.
The social media user revealed this while responding to a tweet by another user who was inquiring to know the true story on what started the clash.
