Aisha Yesufu, co-convener of Bring Back Our Girls movement has described President Muhammadu Buhari as Coward-in-chief after the President’s action.
The reaction from Nigeria social media users came on the heels of Buhari’s action by blocking Nigerians from commenting under his twitter post.
What led to the President locking of his comment section still unknown but lots of Nigerians has criticized the action citing that the President is afraid of comments from Nigerian citizens’ under his tweets.
A post shared by the President can be seen below with warning indicating that only people President Buhari mentioned can reply his tweets.
REACTION BY NIGERIAN SOCIAL MEDIA USERS:
@MBuhari hides from terrorists and also hide from twitter replies. What a pathetic shame, Aisha tweeted.

“Man won’t talk to the press, won’t engage with the citizens. I have never seen a thing like this ..No communications , shows up to read scripted piece of paper and take pictures once in a while.. What a leadership style – a user tweeted.
“He’s not the one operating his account. The president is not even aware of this. Ask him and he’ll say he’s shocked Flushed face – a user tweeted.
Going through the President’s old tweets when the comment section was unlocked, comment under the tweets showed Nigerians bombarded his tweet with lots of what can be described as irregular responses.
Buhari had congratulated Joe Biden as the winner of the just concluded US 2020 presidential election. The tweet going by the comments under it showed Nigerians bombard his tweet.
Congratulations to US President-Elect Joe Biden on his election at a time of uncertainty and fear in world affairs. His election is a reminder that democracy is the best form of government because it offers the people the opportunity to change their government by peaceful means. pic.twitter.com/srv3PP6LBz
