Some group of protesters had flooded the streets of Benin yesterday following the death of a 100 level student of UNIBEN, Uwaila Omosuwa, who was raped by unknown men.
Late Uwaila who had gone to study at the redeemed church of God, Miracle Sanctuary parish, Edo state province 10 when she was brutalized and raped by unknown.
The assailants had reportedly made their way into the church raped and smashed her head with a fire extinguisher.
It was gathered that the church security guard had found the corps of Uwaila when he resumed duty and shouted for help.
Uwaila was rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed dead.
Following this incident, Nigerians Nationwide have staged protests on social media, indoors and also on the streets of Benin.
These led to the deployment of investigation aid and forensic support by the inspector General of police Mohammed Adamu, to compliment the ongoing probe of death.
