In what could be a surprising end of the year reports, Propellerads, one of the leading ads serving companies in the world has released its 2020 Popunder Traffic Report – which determines Benchmarks and Market Trends in 2021.
Although, I’m not a fan of popunder ads. Even here in Abacityblog we do not use it, reasons are readers complain that it takes them off the hook and redirect them to another page, but popunder has outgrown that which made us to start thinking of using it again.
Before now, popunder ads throw readers off the page where they landed to another page, making them feel uncomfortable, but now, research shows that, it gently open in the same active browser (under). It does it in a way that it won’t disturb the user.
Despite that we do not use, millions around the world uses propellerads popunder. I can vouch that a lot of website and blogs uses it. making thousands and millions from it.
Hence your traffic is good, popunder ads will pay you better. The ads is what can be defined as ‘No Traffic Is A Waste’
Going through the 2020 Popunder Traffic Report, it shows that countries like; Brazil, USA, India, South Africa, etc., uses popunder and that is a huge way to say the popunder is breaking grounds.
What is Popunder ads?
It simply put that ads that pop under your active browser when you visit a blog/website that has it embed in their platform.
The first generation of popunders, ads that open under an active browser window, emerged in the late 1990s. Despite its respectable age, popunder still rides a digital advertising wave – billions of users view these ads daily. The ad format has also earned the trust of legions of advertisers, who are looking for guaranteed traffic, affordable prices, and an extensive reach.

Like I said above, it surprises that that popunderads that such vast acceptability across the world. I was amazed while going through the report released by Propellerads.
Going by The average number of impressions per month by Country, It’s no longer surprise that India will be ahead of others. India has population of bloggers, most them uses Popunderads.
I have visited most of their blogs and I notice that popunder ads works on their platform unlike ours here.
Another country I notice is Brazil, that surprises me a lot. Though, I have no familiarity with their platforms, but seeing them there, it shows that popunder ads is doing a lot.

In conclusion: To my own opinion, I think Popunder ads isn’t for the people like me. I tried to use it on my blog few years ago and I found out some factors that pushed me to deactivate it.
Popunder ads is cool and fine, but sometimes it seems it pushes people away from the blog. I run a news blog and most of the readers does not like it. But for the future? I think is still got some cool future and bright one
because lots of people unlike me, uses it.
First time I used it, It pays a lot. I gain a lot of money from my traffic. It utilizes my traffic, makes me want to leave it for long. But complain from readers started coming it makes me abandoned it.
But in 2021, I will build another platform, hopefully and I will use popunder ads from propellersads in it. The decision will come as a reality if Propellerads Popunder keeps going this way or improve the more.
