Humanitarian, Prince Obinna Lawrence Nwosu, 30-years-old young man, born into the family of His Royal Majesty Eze Sir Uzo Nwosu JP, of Umukabia Okaiuga Alike Autonomous community, in Umuahia, has laid out his plan to resuscitate Abia State in 2023.
To show how ready, he is for the job, Prince Nwosu unveiled his plan and has started sensitizing his followers via his social media handle, twitter @obi_Nwosu on the need for a youthful leader,
Prince Obinna, is a Certified National Accountant (CNA) and an Oracle Certified Expert (OCE), he has a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration (CBA) from Wales, UK. As well as a MSc in investment and Finance from England.
Working on his ambition, Prince Obinna has started making consultations with the right individuals, the people and he revealed that his ward to ward tour will begin soon in Abia.
Born in Sokoto state. Where he had most of his primary and secondary education. Prince Obinna, who speaks fluent Igbo, Hausa and English has a BSc Mathematics degree from Nasarawa State University, and served in Edo state.
He proceeded to England for his MSc in Investment and Finance. On returning to Nigeria 2015, he had a stint in the private sector before deciding that his future was in public service.
In 2017, he started working with a Federal Ministry and was deployed to Abia state. His experience working in Abia made him realize that there is so much more that can be done from a broader perspective.
In 2020, he started feeling a heavy burden in his heart to run for Governor of Abia. After 3 years working in Abia state, He was recently deployed to Abuja where he is currently adding his own quarter to nation building. From his childhood, Obinna always loved to visit home. He is well experienced and very rational in thinking.
Speaking with Abacityblog.com on his ambition, Prince Obinna, who revealed his role models are His parents, Late Micheal Okpara and Prof Kingsley Moghalu, said he considers himself to be a bridge between the young and old generation.
“I believe that at 30 years old, I’m not too young to lead the people of Abia state because I have the required mindset and skill-set to lead,” the governorship aspirant said.
Although, he is yet to reveal the political party he belong, however, Prince Obinna said, he has started making consultations and preparing to run for Governor of Abia state 2023.
According to him, “Abia has so much God-given potential which is under-utilized. He considers himself a good leader, and that the people of Abia state would be making a sound decision by voting him in as governor in 2023.
“I wants to bring our best minds together so that Abians can collectively resuscitate Abia state,” Obinna told Abacityblog.com
Aside from his qualifications, Obinna Nwosu who is well travelled nationally (over 25 states) and also several countries internationally, said he is on a mission to resuscitate Abia, while turning down advises from individuals who urged him to start from ‘local government’ post.
