Aide to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, has lambasted the Senator representing Abia South, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, over his statement on the state of the Nation.
Abaribe had on Wednesday, while speaking on the floor of the Senate during a debate on insecurity in the country called on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign. He even, went ahead opined that if the insecurity continues in the country, Nigerians might stone the President Muhammadu Buhari.
Irked by the lawmaker’s statement, the Presidency through Madam Onochie, said it’s true that Security issues are sad concerns around the world including Nigeria, but Abaribe went too far.
According to her, Nigerians should ignore whatever Abaribe said, especially stoning the President.
She said; “Security issues are sad concerns around the world including Nigeria Buffoon Enyinnaya Abaribe, telling Nigerians to “pick stones to stone THEM”, is out of order! It’s a call for anarchy! To those who listen to him, Nigeria is not Sen Ike Ekwerenmadu. Dont even try it. Don’t!

Also reacting, Garba Shehu, official spokesperson to the President has described Senator Abaribe’s statement as foolish.
In twitter post, he noted that President Buhari is doing everything to make the country a better place.

“Senator Abaribe has failed repeated deadlines to return Kanu to the court for trial, yet he has the effrontery with which to accuse someone of failing to the bidding of the law”.
