President Muhammadu Buhari receives Governor-Elect of Bayelsa State David Lyon at the State House, today Nov 18, 2019.
Mr. Lyon, an All Progressive Congress, APC, governorship candidate for Bayelsa in the last Saturday election had won the election after defeating his opponent, Diri Duoye, the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The APC polled 352552 while PDP got 143170 votes.
