The Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, has unveiled the finishing of the 250-bed Isolation/Treatment Centre In Port Harcourt.
The centre which was erected to fight the dreaded COVID-19, a disease caused by Coronavirus, is a collaboration between the Rivers State Government and the Private Sector.
Sharing the photos via his twitter handle, Wike noted that it’s his administration utmost priority to protect the people of Rivers State especially in the face of such deadly disease.
“Our commitment to the protection of Rivers people is unwavering. From proactive measures to check the spread of the disease to the distribution of palliatives to the less privileged and the provision of medical facilities to cater for those who fall ill”, Wike said.
