In what can be described as ’embracing ones Identity’, Bubendorff Memorial Grammar School, Adazi-Nnukwu in Anambra State has introduced an aged Igbo traditional attire ‘Isi Agu’ as its official uniform.
According to the school social media page, the students wore the ‘Isi-Agu’ for their first school assembly in the new academic session.
Recall that Ghana educational Ministry had introduced indigenous made uniform for schools in the country, therefore making Ghana the first Africa Country to introduce its own Pure African School Uniform.
Meanwhile, check by the school social media page showed that they have been consistent in celebration of Igbo culture and the choice of the outfit has been praised by many people on social media, thereby, calling on Africans to embrace who they really are.
