Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Femi Fani-Kayode has attributed a spiritual dimension to the rise of the Labour Party, LP, Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi.
Fani-Kayode, in a twitter post admitted that Obi is ‘moving fast & strong’ in popularity across the Nigerian political space, adding that his supporters, the Obidients may soon topple the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to become Nigeria’s main opposition party.
Fani-Kayode’s comment comes barely 24 hours after Obi’s supporters converged at Unity Fountain, Abuja, yesterday to make statement for their support for the former Anambra State governor and Labour Party.
The Million Man March was attended by thousands of Nigerian, including newly-weded couples.
“Obi is moving fast & strong. There is a spiritual dimension to his rise”, Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation said on twitter.
According to him, “At this rate he (Obi) & his Obidients may soon topple PDP to become Nigeria’s main opposition party.”
Fani-Kayode however, said he is very sure that put together, Obi and his supporters they cannot defeat the APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Yet the two of them put together cannot stand against the fire & fury of the BATISTS & JAGABANISTS of the APC! – Fani-Kayode tweeted.
