Mr Peter Obi, the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate has revealed he’s been conferred with the citizenship of Dallas, Texas, USA.
Obi, who is currently in the US following his consultation with Nigerians in diaspora made the announcement via his verified Facebook page, adding that he met with the Mayor of Dallas alongside his team.
The former Anambra State governor and a successful businessman said he also met with a select group of Texas Judges.
Making the announcement earlier today, Obi wrote: “Today in Dallas Texas United States, I met with the Mayor of Dallas and his team. I had the privilege of being conferred with the honorary citizenship of Dallas. I also met with a select group of Texas Judges.”
Peter Obi is one of the frontrunners in the forthcoming presidential race slated to hold on February 2023.
Other frontrunners are; Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
