Peter Obi, Labour Party presidential candidate has given a definition to the name of his supporters movement known as Obidients.
Obidients movement is made up of mostly Nigerian youths who have declared their total support to Obi and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed.
Peter Obi, a former Anambra State governor has garnered organic support since he joined the presidential race. The Obidients, have also acquired massive followership following their activeness online and offline.
The group has also organised rallies tagged; #MillionMarchforPeterObi in several states across the country and meetings to gather more supporters for their candidate.
Defining #Obidients, one of the most popular support based ever seen in Nigerian political space since 1999, Obi who is currently in the USA meeting with Diaspora Nigerians, described the group as Organized, inclusive and Democratic.
