What a way to welcome a crowned son, back to his native Igbo land.
It was squared by events unexpected.
How they knew he was arriving to have prepared to what was seen today is unbelievable.
They missed him…. it showed today, in the South East, written boldly beyond explanations.
Dr Orji Uzor Kalu may had planned to make his entrance to the South East Nicodemus, but no, as there’s no hidden place for a golden fish, the airport was the first surprise.
For a Son that was unlawfully slammed, the sorrows, pains in the land was like a black cloud waiting to pour. But the spirits were high, the believe that vindication would come to play was a console as people prayed faithfully and the Almighty answered.
Today, we saw the passion that kept aside this dreadful Covid which would had been avoided only, if Dr Orji Uzor Kalu decides not to be home again. But, would he had remained in Abuja? However, home is home. He must visit his constituency at this time offered by the recession of the national assembly.
The drums rolled and the excitement was real as they could not get their eyes off their returning Son. As their Sanator and a recognized voice of Ndi Igbo, this welcoming is deserving. There’s no better way to express what Dr Orji Uzor Kalu symbolize to the South East. He had been a fearless voice that is creating for himself, enemies all for the sake of his people.
He had been the uniting force to the nation at large. He’s Known in the West and acceptable by the North… A friend to the south south and to the middle belt he remained a figure to recon with.
Many saw his conviction to be political hunt.
Dr Orji Uzor Kalu in 2007 ran for the presidency and came third in the poll. The fears that such attempt could be repeated at the time the West, South South and the North, haven had their fair share of service to our one united Nigeria Would not quickly erase from the mind of those with intentions. Can Man be God to know what becomes?
A free man remain a Free man, a Noble man is loved by his people. Dr Orji Uzor Kalu is a man for all free minds.
