Abia North Senator (elect) Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, has denied reports from online medium quoting him as stated that “serving ministers made the All Progressive Congress, APC, loose the 2019 elections in the Southeast”.
The reports which emanated from online news portal (Not ABACITYBLOG) quoted the former Abia State governor as accusing the serving ministers from South-East as behind the President Buhari’s failure to scale much votes in the region during the 2019 election.
Reacting through his twitter handle, Kalu said “The press should live up to its responsibility of accurate reportage”.
He said; “The general public should disregard the news emanating from “daily post”. I never at any point stated that serving ministers made the APC loose elections in the Southeast.The statement is false in its entirety”.
He further advised the said online news portal (Dailypost) to “review the news post immediately”.
