The Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation(OUKF) has donated Wheel Chairs to some physically challenged persons in Abia-North of Abia State.
This latest humanitarian outreach is in addition to the on-going zero interest free loan which the foundation is currently disbursing to Small Scale Traders and Artisans in selected Local Government Areas of Abia-State.
The Executive Secretary of the Foundation Rev. Mrs Ola Kalu said the gesture one of the numerous philanthropic activities of the foundation aimed at alleviating the problem of the handicapped in the society.
Receiving the equipment on behalf of Obasi Malachi a physically challenged from Ohafia LGA,Mr. Obasi father of the beneficiary, commended the foundation for the gesture, saying that it was not only a worthy and noble act of selfless service, but a clear demonstration of his commitment to Nigeria and most especially Abia – State.
