Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, counsel to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has said Kanu’s arrest is getting desired attention.
Ejiofor who urged Kanu’s followers to remain calm in the presence of their leader’s ordeal said they’re doing everything possible to ensure he regain his freedom soon.
“Umuchineke (children of God), please be firm, and less distracted, present situation is receiving desired attention from every quaters”, Ejiofor said in a Twitter post.

He, however, revealed that every necessary actions has been taken to get Nnamdi Kanu out of DSS detention.
“We are not leaving any space for anything untoward to happen to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. He will soon regain his freedom,despite all the shenanigans playing out now.”
“Chukwuokike (God the creator) is with us, and can never fail us. We are keeping on within our proffessional capacity.
“We Shall keep you updated regularly. But be calm, focused and prayerful, that this period too will come to pass, and it shall all end in praises. Forward ever.” The tweet concluded.

Recall that Nnamdi Kanu was arrested and extradited back to Nigeria from an undisclosed country abroad to continue his trail.
Although, there have been condemnation about the process he was arrested.
Kanu, leader of IPOB is standing trial on the offence of “treason”, and his case will be coming up on 26th July, 2021.
