Social media is on fire following the news of a trailer driver who crushed about fifteen (15) School children in Lagos.
The incident took place on Tuesday along Ogunusi Road, Grammar School bus stop, Lagos State. According to reports, the accident was caused by LASTMA/VIO who were pursuing a Trailer and the driver ran into school children coming out of school and crushed about 15 of them.
It was learnt that the pupils were going home after closing time and wanted to cross the road when the truck ran over them.
The driver was reportedly chased to the Ogba area where he was arrested.
A social media user, Ayo Deji who shared the news warned motorists to avoid the areas where the incident happened.
“Avoid Ogunnusi road, Berger area. Trailer killed 15 kids few minutes ago and the people have blocked the road. Heavy traffic too. Apparently it was Lastma/VIO pursuing a trailer and the guy ran into school kids coming out of school”
“I have never witnessed such a terrible scene in my life. I saw about 15 pupils lying lifeless on the floor. The incident occurred around 2 pm,” a commercial motorcyclist told Nigeriandaily.
