Nigerians has reacted as the Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu shared a throwback team photo of Enyimba Football Club of Aba.
Senator Kalu, representing Abia North Senatorial District, was the governor of Abia State from 1999-2007. The Enyimba FC, during his term reigned as the Football Champions in Nigeria and Africa. The Club was crowned as the CAF Champions back to back while Kalu was governor.
Sharing the photo, Kalu said a friend sent him the photo “recalling one of my noble legacies with Enyimba FC of Aba under my management”.
“I can recall few names herein; Vincent Enyeama @vinpee, Ekene Ezenwa, Ognonnaya Okemiri, David Tyakasi, Muri Ogunbiyi, Onyekachi Okonkwo, Ndidi Anumudu.

Reacting to the photo, Nigerians hailed Kalu’s management of the Club while in office as executive Governor of Abia State.
